Kutain Hinged Bunion Corrector, White: honest review

This is the Kutain hinged bunion corrector in white. Instead of a twist-and-string adjuster, it uses a click dial.
It's hinged right at the big toe joint, so you can wear it barefoot and still bend the toe up and down while it's held out. It has adjustable Velcro straps and a soft gel lining. It also comes with two rubber toe bands, which I didn't find useful.
Putting it on: line it up with your toe, then fasten three straps. The middle strap goes first (get it nice and firm), then one around the toe and one around the heel. Once it's on, each click of the dial brings the toe out a bit further, and the hinge keeps the toe in line when I bend it.
Honest note: the click mechanism can strip, and one notch on mine did. I can get past it by pulling the piece out with my finger. My verdict: I do recommend it for the way it feels on my foot.
Not medical advice. This page covers how the product fits and works for me, nothing more. For anything going on with your feet, talk to a doctor or podiatrist.
